Award-winning Andy’s Pizza Opens in Georgetown

Award-winning Andy’s Pizza just opened its newest location at 1065 Wisconsin Ave NW. The New York-style pies are known for their crust, made with a 72-hour cold fermenting process that gives them a unique crisp yet soft bite, “with a touch of sourdough.” Order by the slice or get a whole pie. The cheese pizza earned first place in the traditional division at the 2021 International Pizza Challenge, so you can’t go wrong with that one. Other favorites include the pepperoni special with red sauce, mozzarella, ‘roni cups, burrata, basil, hot honey, and parmigiano, or the mushroom and onion with roasted garlic cream sauce, mozzarella and provolone. In addition to pizza, several starters are also available – from oven-roasted broccolini to Old Bay fries and a kale salad.
