New Temporary Art Installation in Georgetown

Bike to the beat on Light Lane, a temporary public art installation in Georgetown that blends art, music and technology. Now through October 4, hop on one of four stationary bikes along Georgetown Park’s East Market Lane (3270 M St NW) and pedal to the sounds of musicians with ties to DC’s music culture, brought to life with animated lights and floor projections. Each bike will feature a different song by Marvin Gaye, U2, Chuck Brown or Dave Grohl, bringing people together in the heart of Georgetown.

The art installation is by LeMonde Studio and is presented by the Georgetown BID and Georgetown Heritage Arts, with a big thank you to our key sponsor, Georgetown Park.
