New Coffee Shop & Bookstore

Flor. Coffee + Books, a Buenos Aires-inspired café and bookshop, is celebrating its grand opening August 22 from 11am – 7pm at 1220 31st St NW. If you’re one of the first 100 guests, enjoy a free hot or iced coffee and a financier pastry, a $5 gift card for a future visit, and 10% off all food and drinks. A Tarot card reader will offer mini readings. The café menu features specialty coffee, including a unique blend from Grace Street Coffee Roasters, Argentinian and French pastries, soft serve from Dolcezza, empanadas, sandwiches, toasts, bowls, salads, and more. Head up to the second floor and shop a selection of books in English and Spanish, as well as games, and Tarot decks. Don’t miss The Appreciation Station – a machine that dispenses gratitude prompts. Flor. will eventually host workshops, readings, meetups and memberships.
