Eugene is responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the C&O Canal towpath and Capitol Crescent Trail between Mile Marker Zero on the Canal and the Maryland border – totaling 10 miles. He routinely removes graffiti, removes discarded bikes and scooters, cleans trash, and monitors the safety of the trails to support the cooperative agreement the Georgetown BID has with the National Park Service. Prior to joining the BID, Eugene worked in construction.
